I feel like this quote couldn't be more true as we are finding ourselves in the situation we are in currently. With limited childcare options, it can be difficult to have an evening away to be with your partner. Yet it is so valuable to invest in your relationship and spend some quality time together.

Valentine's Day is no exception. You may not be able to get out and do what you had hoped on Valentine's Day, but you can still have a pretty amazing at-home date night! Here are my top 5 at-home date night ideas.

Create a Bucket List. This can include anything from movies you'd like to watch, to taking a trip across the world. You can make it for things you'd like to do in the next month, or over the next 5-10 years.
Are you competitive? You'll have some fun with the "How Well Do You Know Your Spouse?" game! There are lots of ideas on Pinterest Board here, or go download my list of questions below.
Play board games. Some classics include Risk, Sorry, Scrabble, and Perfection. Looking for something new? Try Bananagrams or Codenames: Duet!
Build a popcorn bar. Popcorn and movie night go hand in hand, so why not add something extra? Try cooking popcorn on your stovetop and add different toppings like caramel, chocolate chips, garlic powder, chili and lime...the possibilities are endless!
Indulge with an at home spa for 2. Tidy up your space, dim the lights, light some candles, and have music playing softly in the background. You can do a romantic massage with oil and/or have a blissful bath with bubbles, bath bombs, or oils. Gently exfoliate with a DIY sugar scrub. Enjoy a glass or two of champagne together and have some time to relax.
